I am putting a 302 and a C4 into a 1959 Ford custom 300. I am having difficulty with the oil pan that was on the motor (it hits the cross member) will a double sump pan from a mid 80's t-bird or cougar work for this part of my problem? also the mounts on the motor will work if they were an inch taller, does anyone know what mounts I need? The motor came out of a very rusty 1978 f-150 2wd

I would call Speedway Motors to solve the motor mount issue,the oil pan may take some fabricating,I have tried the double sump pans on several applications ,and they were more trouble than they were worth,Hamberger,Milodon might make a pan that would allow to drop your engine right in,but I would call Speedway first. 1-800-979-0122
