a complete rebuildable 340 6 pak is probably worth 2 grand, its rare and desirable to the right guy. the actual block is different than a reg 340, it has 4 bolt mains and diff lifter bore angle. if the six pak is missing or incomplete, thats the most expensive part of the whole mtr. the date and mtr code are on the block, driver side, jut below the cyl head, on the front. this might be faint but it will tell u exactly what the mtr is
