How do you visually tell the difference in a 47 and 48 ford?
Partsman....I believe you are right about the side chrome...I checked several photos, and it looks like only the 48 is smooth,,,thanks...the parking lights were moved in 46 to 47, however..........

the parking lights are different as well 47's are rectange and 48 is round I think

Captcoupe...Nope..rectangular light were only in 1946...1947-8 were moved to the fender below the headlights, and both are round.
