I have inherited a 1968 396 SS El Camino from my father. It is number matching. It has the 350 h.p. in it. Has automatic transmission on the colum (sp). The only unknown original parts are the wheels, and the exhaust. All logos are there. It sat for quite some time. We have matched numbers on engine as well. The car will turn over, but does not start, at the moment. My husband is going to get it running, with minimal effort he bypassed the distributor, so something there, probably a chewed up wire by a pack rat. It ran when my father parked it. The headliner is torn. The inside is kinda ruff, needs some tlc. The paint is original. I have researched and aren't many original around that I have found ANYWHERE.
