Would you classify a AC Cobra as a Ford or a Shelby?
Better yet, would you classify the Shelby GT500E a Mustang or a Shelby?

The AC would definitely be a Shelby!

I have always considered the Shelby Mustangs to be nothing more than supped up mustangs, don’t get me wrong, they are great cars and worth a ton of money, but they are a base mustang. The same can be said for Saleens.

The AC Cobra and the 67 GT 500's id tag states "Manufactured by Shelby American Incorporated, Los Angeles, Ca. Shelby sold the rights to Ford and the 1968 GT 500's were built by Ford.
