Pick up a copy of the Old Cars Price Guide, they're about $5 or $6 from a good newsstand. They have the most current auction prices for every car from about 1900 to current, every year, make, model. There's too much crap, opinion, and ego in collector car circles, and Old Cars Price Guide is an objective source. They rate every year, make, and model from condition 1 (worst) to condition 5 (100 point show car). They have a explanation in the front which details how to use the 1 thru 5 rating. Probably many people sold presidential limousines for a few thousand dollars because someone said that they were a 4 door, and relatively worthless. Old Cars Price Guide is information from the horse's mouth!
