which eng. is better a 289 ford or a 302 ford . the 289 is a66 fairlane.302 is a mavrick.

Flip a coin. 289 will have higher compression; the 302 has 13 more cubes & possibly easier to get parts for. Most SBF 289/302 speed equip fits both. I like the 289, but like I said; flip a coin.
