My first car is the 66 Fury1. Notice the word is. meaning 40 some years later I still have this car and plan to restore it someday. The 2nd car was a 66 Belvedere II 4dr sedan. Motor went in it and sold it. #rd car was a Ford.

1964 Chevy Impala (still have it)
1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle. Didn't know the difference between a Bettle and Super Beetle, and neither did the seller, probably. It drove a whole 200 miles before the engine blew up. Brakes didn't work all that well. I was 16 years old, delivering pizzas in the car to pay to fix it up. Would take the car apart in the morning and put it back together to go to work in the afternoon. Bought several repair manuals, especially "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive", a godsend. Didn't know what a piece of junk the car was, but I learned a lot, and it got me where I was going. Eventually got the car fixed up really nice and sold to a schoolteacher who was going to Mexico. Don't really miss the car, but cherish the memories.
