Were there factory installed superchargers on the 1966 Barracuda ?
I found a barn find 1966 Barracuda. It looks complete with the 273 engine, but it appears to have a supercharger on the right side. Looks factory ? Did they make this or is it aftermarket / I am going to get the VIN,etc. and do some more digging on this car also. Thanks

none of the reference books that i have show it as an optiion . a dearler could have installed one ,back then dealers could do more than today. the alt usually mounted on pass side of engine.Paxton made a supercharger that was used aftermarket and very popular amoung hot rodders.
