Tumbling sounds rear axle-what can be done?
Within last week I have heard what sounded like a loose lug nut in rear hub. Local garage said it is coming from rear axle and short of replacing axle( 1969 Tempesr/CustomS) there is nothing to be done. True? About 130,000 miles on car.
