Curious what other cars in the 80's and 90's people think will be collectible?
I just picked up a 1990 Ford Taurus SHO, has the Yamaha 6cyl. in it, 5 speed, leather seats, great fast car!! Am I crazy or do others think that these cars along with some of the other Z28's, IROC's and others will be collectible cars in the future? I know they wont ever demand the type of prices that Hemi's do.
I can’t help but think that these may be the next generation collector cars? Any other cars a guy should start picking up and putting away for those future "Barn Find" stories?

A good one to stuff away if you can find them are the 87 Camaro convertibles, this was the first year they were offered back into production and according to the standard catalog of Chevrolet 1007 were produced. I had a chance to buy one about 3 years ago, it was the most hammered camaro I had seen in a long time, $1,200 bought it and I passed!
The SHO I think will be a good holding car, didn’t Thunderbird make an SHO also?
Youre right though, these cars will never demand the kind of prices 60's muscle cars do but I think at some point they will come close.

I can't imagine any foreign or domestic automobile with front wheel drive becoming a highly sought after collector car in the future. I guess at my age I won't be around to witness such a travisity to the world of the classic/antique/collectable cars as we know them.
