I have 94 mustang and had my cushions seats steam clean and my vehicle was closed inside a storage. i had open the door and find mold on my inner door panels.

Pick up or rent a ozone machine it will kill all mold then you can use bleach and water to get rid of any black residue ( bleach will not kill mold)
If its cloth I am not sure what would work the best, I would think windex and a brush. I use Windex and brush for cleaning int. panels and it works quite well, granted these are vinyl.
