I bought a 1970 Impala convert. with a 400 small block 265hp. It has all options offered and I'd like to find out specifics on how many were built etc. the vin is 164670s219333

According to the 3rd edition of the Standard Catalog of American Cars covering 1946 thru 1975 there were 612,800 1970 Impalas produced. Of these there were exactly 9,562 (1970) Impala Convertibles produced with the V8 engine. Engine options (350, 400, 454 Cubic Inches) are not broken down for 1970 models.
