It is a 1972 Elcamino 396ss bench seat a/c automatic on the colum power disc brakes . I was to by a friend that the coloum shifter makes it kind of rare with the ss option? I have looked around and and can't find the nubers on these cars. If any one can help thanks

I could be wrong but I thought in order for it to be an SS it needed to have a 454 engine.

The only information that I could find was that the total production for El Camino's were 57,147. I'll keep looking and will let you know if I find anything.
