T-56 Transmision Swap
I have a 95 chevy c1500 its a 2wd extended cab with a 305 V8 (highly modified), it has a 5 speed manual that needs help. I have the opertunety to pick up a t-56 from a LS2 motor at a very reasonable price. I know that this trany would hold up to my horse power beter and should give me better preformance. but I need to know what all needs to be changed modified etc. and aproximatly how much this will cost me. (is itgoing to be financialy sound to do this or should I go with a TKO 5 speed) I know Ill need to shorten the drive shaft, and get an adapter to conect the trany to the small block but what else is needed? What kind of expense am I looking at on top of the Tranny?
