Chat Conversation Start 10:52pm I'm looking for information relating to a non- original motor in my '65 corvette. In Decoding the 327 CID Motor it appears to have originally been applied to a 1962 Baltimore built Chevrolet. Block has the following stampings: "B267038" that indicates Baltimore Assy. and the 6 digit VIN. Also: "F0522RB" indicating Flint motor, built May 22, and RB being 327 CID - 300HP - 4BBL- 4spd. If my limited research is correct, the 1st # of the VIN should be "2" for 1962? the 2nd &3rd #s would be series: 12, 14, 16 or 18? And t&4th #s would be Body type? B = Baltimore that built the full size Chevrolet. I would be very interested to determine the actual (original) vehicle information associated and matched to this quick little motor??? Regards, John
