If the 1966 289 does have 200 HP--can anyone estimate the horsepower if this engine has:
1--A mild cam
2--An Edelbrock Performer Intake manifold
3--A Carter 4 barrell carburetor
4--Headers
ALSO-- What can anyone tell me about the Ford C4 transmission?
1--Are there any problems with it?
2--What can be done to make it work better and longer
3--How many speeds does it have?

Probably gross HP, not net. Not out of the realm of reality. "Estimate?" Slap it on a dyno and know for sure, otherwise it's just an uninformed guess.
My 1969 Chev 307 was rated at 200 gross HP with a 2-barrel and single exhaust.
Sorry, don't really know anything about the C4.
