does anyone know why ? G.M.C. DIVISION IS STAMPED ON MY TRANSMISSION PAN ?
MY 1984 OLDSMOBILE CUSTOMCRUISER ( STUCK IN NETURAL ) WHEN PLACED IN REVERSE ! HAS THE STAMP G.M.C. DIVISION ON IT !! ANY INFO ? WAYS TO GET IT UNSTUCK AND MOVING AGAIN ? WANT TO SELL IT ! BEEN SITTING NEXT TO THE BARN FOR YEARS NOW ! NEEDS A GOOD NEW HOME !! THANK'S , Mike in FLorida

Almost sounds like a linkage malfunction (Out of adjustment)
General Motors Corp. GMC they had this on a lot of Trans. pans,so it is not unusual.
