As a driver, you need to first decide if you will buy one or all four tires. If you need to replace only two and the others still have good functional tread left then go ahead and buy the two. Make sure the replacement tires are in the same tread as other tires. You need to replace using tires from manufacturers as http://4wheelonline.com/motorcycle/Pirelli_Motorcycle_Tires.169577

If a 4 tires were installed at the same time, I would suspect an alignment problem for having only one worn tire. If the exact tread pattern you have is not available, buy the same size replacement. If the tire shop measures the circumference on the "good" tires within one inch of the circumference on a new one they might replace just the one. If it is more than one inch difference a pair of tires will be their advice.
