Gently squeeze the cover from both sides to release the two plastic tabs that hold it in.

There two clips on the lense you slid a then screw driver in an pop it out. Be careful not to reef on it too hard it comes out pretty easy. I had a 64 SS and a 63 Impala. If the lenses are brittle they made crack. the clips are reight accross from each other on the lense.
