I am trying to see how many vehicles like mine are still on the road, in operation.
I am the proud owner of a 1966 Mercury Monterey Breezeway which is in very good mechanical condition and an excellent body. It is driven every day, has all of the original features that all still function properly, down to the rear power window. I have the orignal hubcaps also.
I have found the information pertaining to all of it's specifications, interior, exterior, drive train and everything else. What I am wanting to find out is how many approximately of this particular vehicle (if it possible) are still on the road, basically how mamy are still in the U. S.
If ther is any one out there that could help me find this information it would be greatly appreciated. I want this info for my own personal records only. It isn't to see what it is worth because I have owned it for about 10 years and therefore it will remain in my family.
If any one would like to see her I would gladly email some pictures. Thank you all. Joseph M. Lawarence

That's like asking how many Bigfoots there are. The information you are looking for can be very hard to find. Have you ran across any registry's for Mercury Monterey's? That might be one start in the right direction. If you don't know of any, you could start your own. Good luck!
