C = chevy K =4x4 E=v8 engine 11= 1/2 ton short box 2= model year 1972 Z = assemnbly plant. have seen new cars sold in calif titled the year that they were first titled. such as a1979 citation that did not come out until the1980 model year.pink slip should be same as vin on truck.the spare tire mount on side of box was an add on accessory.
