what is a easy way to go past 55 for my 1952 chevt truck
i have a truck seems to not go past 55 or so was wondering what would be a good way to go but not too exspensive would it be changing the gears in axle or changing the axle and what axle would be a good axle to put in that i can still have the six lug rims i got a 235 engine with the rest stock thanks

The chevy pickups from the late sixties thru the 70's had a 3.73 ratio. It might be faster than the one in yours. Or taller tires will make it go faster, but it takes more power to turn them.
