my vin# only has 10 digits and it"s a 1960 chev belair 4 door and no letters does anyone know why i
my 1960 chev bel air only has 10 # in vin # and no letters everyone i seen has a alphabet letter to show assembly plant does anyone know why i got my vin# off left door jam post it is a 4 door if this makes a diff thank you

the 1519 or 1619 is the model number .the rest are thserial number.to detrmine where the body was made look at tag under hood.
