If you know anywhere to find a rebuild kit for this carb that would be much appreciated as well

Any magazine that sells parts for old cars. Try the auto store and ask them to order it.
The carbs for a 1971 chevelle 6 cyl are Rochester MV 21-393 FOR STANDARD TRANS CARS AND ROCHESTER MV 21-394 FOR AUTOMATICS. THE MODEL NUMBERS ARE USUALLY STAMPED ON A FLAT SPOT ON THE SIDE OF THE CARB.
