HAVE A 1953 CHEVY BELAIR , A 235 ENGINE.. NEED TO REPLACE CLUTCH>> WHEN I LOOK ON LINE TO GET A NEW CLUTCH KIT> THEY LIST A COUPE OF DIFFERENT SIZES>> > I NEED TO GET THE KIT IN HAND BEFORE I TAKE THE OLD ONE OUT> CAN SOMEONE HELP ME>> AS I SAID NEED TO BUY THE CLUTCH KIT BEFORE I TAKE THE OLD ONE OUT >> THANKS GUYS AND GALS>>>

remove inspection cover .[ 4 bolts ] take a wire hanger bend it so that it looks like a U matching smallest size, at open end, you can reach into sides of pressure plate and touch the sides of the disc or heavy part of surface of that contacts the disc . it is most likely the smallest one .the 11 inch was used in trucks . will not hurt to leave cover off for a few days until parts come.
