I have a 55 GMC truck,I think where is the frame VIN # located? has a V8 number location?
I have no paper work and lots of questions is Pontiac motor factory? its in good shape whats it worth? how do I register it in California it's no longer in DMV system?

You will want to contact your DMV to see how you can register/title it. Each state is different and has different requirements. I'm not sure what California's rules and regulations are.
