Who is a mechanic in the southern Union County, New Jersey familiar with old carburetors?
My 1937 Chevrolet has 3 available carburetors but none of them have the dashboard throttle connection. I have been to four shops but none of them have been able to correct the hard starting, stalling, flooding and possible vapor lock.

I don't know of any mechanics in your area, but if I were you I would contact a local car club in your area. They will definitely have some good references or resources for you. OldRide has a directory of car clubs you can find on here. Click on the clubs link up at the top of the screen.
