Why? I want to understand some of the options on a 68 Corvette I'm looking to buy. But, the VIN, or in this case, Manufacturer's ID Number seems too short. It is only 7 numbers instead of 13. I do see where some of the 7 numbers align with the specifics of the car. But, there is definitely something a bit off here. I want to make sure there isn't anything wrong with the car before I buy it. Thanks for any advice!
