My 1978 Firebird with lots of Gas7-8 gallons or more. Engine keeps shutting off while driving. Wont start untill adding Gas with a Can and wont start until putting some gas thru the Carburator venturi air intake. Also I cannot put gas in the tank at a gas pump. Vapor canister is in very bad condition. I have Installed a new Feul pump and just replaced inline Feul filter after I installed a new Rebuilt Rochester Carb. I have owned this car for 37 years. never gave any problem I could not Solve My self I am expert with old Cars like mine. But this problem has me befuddled. Where Can I get a new New Vapor Canister. Also my Fuell gauge is Bad gives wrong reading.Sows half when empty. Anyone have any Ideas please Help HELP me. Thanks Zeb Tel 813-968-7192
