I recently bought a 1968 Chevy C10 and I am trying to develop a rebuild/restore plan. My wife will eventually be driving this truck with me on long trips, so the manual steering and brakes are going to have to go. My question is: What other vehicles can I yank the necessary parts out of? I've been told a '72 C10's spindles will bolt right on for the brakes, but finding one with the parts still on is not the easiest thing in the world. I was hoping to broaden the horizon as far as compatibility goes. Any help would be much appreciated.

67-72 Chevy and GMC trucks had a lot of interchangable parts, but 67 had several things different such as the cab/doors/back glass. The main thing is to find a 1/2 ton 5 lug for the brakes, as they had 6 lug too. Some surburban parts will also interchange such as the power steering, but they were 6 lug. hope this helps some. Where are you located? I have a PS sector and pump laying in my shed, I am in wichita ks.
