I need 47 to 54 Chevy truck vin plate that is clear, know where i can buy one?
I was told by CHP that if I can find a VIN plate from a wrecked or totaled truck that I can use that plate on my restoration as long as it is a clear vin in the system. I need to have a vin plate or it will be registered a special construction and insurance will be very costly.

Ebay used to have sellers with cheap plates. If not a trophy shop could likely do it if you get them a picture of one.
