I'm trying to decode the cowl tag on my 1948 Chev Fleetmaster 2 door coupe. Can anyone help?
My car was manufactured in Canada. The cowl tag reads as follows: Model 10-27, Serial #8102701694, Engine # 209856, Trim # 401, Body Serial # 25, Paint # 801. I have also located # 5843350 on the engine block. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to this site and find it very informative.
