I recently purchased a 1965 Impala SS 327/4 spd with the letter D in the 7th position of the VIN. I think that is Doraville, GA but, "D" is not listed as being an assembly plant for 1965. Any ideas?

The "D" is for Doraville, Wisconsin.
I also have a 65 Impala with a D in the 7th position. Good to hear I'm not the only one.
