I'm redoing the top half of the engine and decided to put on headers. I am looking for suggestions on what type (brand) headers and muffler would work that won't break the bank. Are Summit Racing Stock headers with flow masters a good choice? I'm keeping it stock with 2bbl carb but just want to make it sound good. Any suggestions?

flowmasters are a popular choice these days. old days were cherry bombs, thrush, smittys, any glass pack we could afford worked. my 396 camaro was thrushed back in the day.
