Confirmation: this is from a Lincoln circa 1952. I have a pair from a 49 Lincoln - same shield, dish slightly different shape. Interesting that the head of the 'knight' on one cap is straight while on the other cap the head is in profile ... I've seen this oddity on others from this era. Note: the shield 'motif' here with 'dots' in two quarters and 'lines' in the other two is from 1930's FORD designs.
