Alright ..here's the deal. I have a 1963 Ford F100 with a 223. It was running like a top until 3 weeks ago when it died at a stop sign. I checked for spark....no spark. I have checked all the ignition wiring for freys, cracks or shorts to grounds.. Replaced the coil , distributor cap and rotor. Checked with volt meter and am getting power 11.80 to and out of coil and cap..... just no spark. Even directly out of the coil... no spark. I ordered a new ignition switch and relay for it..not that I think that's the problem.. I'm just running out of options from my knowledge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. .....so I don't end up snapping and set this truck on fire.. Pink resistor wire. ? Can that go bad and be my no spark prob. ?

If the points are ok the condenser could be shorted out. Unhook wire for condenser and check for spark.

It probably is the points. Pertronix makes a very good conversion kit that mounts where the original points are and in the same holes. They also have their own coil. This is a great fix and easy to do. Many local parts companys carry these as do Summit or Jegs. I have converted many and NEVER have had any more ignition issues. good luck
