wondering what this is?
I'm kinda new at the old car scene and have inherited a garage full of old items and was wonder what this is and does thanks.

that appears to be a viewfinder .they were mounted on the dash to allow the driver to see overhead traffic signals.the lens is beveled for that purpose.

that is a traffic light view finder, they were mounted on the dashboard to see the traffic light ( needed when a outside visor was used) to see when the light changed, without craning the entire body to see the traffic light. have several new old stock on hand, neat items to have.
