Well, I know 2 things. The serial number is stamped on a plate located on left door hinge pillar and serial numbers were not made available to industry recording sources.

However, you are in luck because there is a website out there called Old GMC Trucks that can help you. They have a lot of information www.oldgmctrucks.com
