where do i find the vin# on my 1939 dodge truck?

The serial # plate is located on the right front door hinge pillar.
Engine # is stamped on a pad on left side of cylinder block between cylinder numbers one and two.

Check for a serial number on the frame, it will be near the front,on the outside drivers side.
