Chevrolet never kept record of this, unlike Pontiac's. posted:  April 23, 2008   harposrepairyahooc      If you could send me some pictures of the motor mounts, the carburetor, the body tag numbers on the firewall, and the VIN tag numbers I might be able to look it up in a book I've got that has a brake down. Also the ID numbers on the engine would help to find out if it is what came in it. The 6cyl. ID is stamped on a pad behind the distributor on the right side of the engine block.
