1960 Caddy Eldorado
Found a 1960 Caddy 2-door in Georgia. About 4 hours away from my house. Hes asking $400 and a old gold ring I have thats valued at around $300 dollars or less! It has a 390 thats needs to be rebuilt. Tranny is good. Small rust hole is floor pan. Everything else is in good condition. Is it worth a ring that i dont wear, $400, and a 4 hour drive?

Are you sure its an eldo? I thought the eldo's had side stainless trim on the quarter panels? If the car doesnt have alot of rust (which these were common for) then 700 dollars isnt a bad deal at all.

I know this is late, hope you made the deal by now. Pickeringpete is right about side stainless on rear quarters. Even if that Caddy is not an eldo,a 2dr Ht. That is 85% There is worth 2x that money and time to get. I'd do it. Good luck.
