A 292 inline was in the ones I was around. The gmc had a 305 v6 in theirs.

it could be a 250 cid inline 6 that is what our 1 ton wrecker had.the covers for the lifters are about 4 in tall on the 250 and5 on the 292.because the292 has a taller block.
