Was told it is out of a late year 68 Impalla and is a 327. The person that told me this has been wrong about a lot of the information about this truck. I have it in a 62 Chevy 10. it's not the original motor. The left side exhaust manifold has the alternator mounted to it. The v8 mounts have been added and the front single mount has been cut out. I want to rebuild it. And would to know as much about the motor as possible.

the HH is a 350 cid 300 hp 4 barrel carb that had a th 400 trans behind it . {see you have a stick trans now } the side mounts on engine are right for a pickup , manifold is correct if alt mount bolts to it . fan shroud is needed to cool engine ,that far away will not pull air through radiator . Hollander interchange manual show the 62 chev pick up using an altenator ,not a generator .
