there are 5 different rear axle assemblies used in 94 mustang 7.5 ring gear w and wo abs brakes and 8.8 ring gear with or without abs and cobra w asb. car-part.com shows that a 98 rear axle will fit a 94,but a 99 willnot . if changing size assembly it will more than likely require a different driveshaft .from what i saw on carpart it looks like possi is not used in 7.5 assembly.
