moving gas tank
I would like to get the fuel tank out of the cab and under the bed any idea what stock tanks will fit? Also i need a complete hood latch set up. There is nothing on the hood or by the radiator. It is a 1949 Ford F-1 short bed pick up. I have owned it for almost 3 days now

Measure how much space there is along the frame rail. Then hit the wrecking yard for a saddle tank. Ebay might have something come through. When I get tired of the bungee cord on my 52 I will put on a couple "Jeep" tee handle type latches on the outside front corners of the hood.
