I am rebuilding the side and nose of my wife's bird and had top replace the hood as well as door front fenders and so I bought a used shaker hood and the height is too low form the shaker to protrude thru the hood I sure could use some air cleaner component pix so I can compare what I have and see what can be done. The air cleaner has a 1 inch or 3/4 inch spacer now but the shaker is about 2 1/2 inches from the hood.

Those pix also show aq highrise intake . I have someplace a carb adapter that could possibly be turnede into a spacer. I will search for it and take outn the studs and drill it thru and make a spacer out of it.
A high rise intake ! I should have thought about that. It currently has a edelbrock intake but not a highrise.
