Has anyone changed the steering box on full size impala? I was told that a camaro steering box will work on my 69. I want to switch for one with less turns as I just started to completely rebuild the suspension and might as well switch box's' Just don't know the year I can use to purchase one.
O' and thanks to those who assisted with A/C problem, bought NOS R 12 and used directions (Cold as Ice)

I think if you look for a 69 that had an f41 suspension (ss427 or some other big block) that would be your best bet. Mark
According to Hollander, the variable ratio box is 69 full size only. It says that the standard fits a variety of cars but it is the 67 Camaro that is called out, not the 69.
