THE LIGHTS IN PLACE OF THE ROCKETS WAS USED AS A CUSTOMIZING METHOD IN THE LATE 50S HAVE SEEN MANYHOODS MODIFIED THIS WAY .THE OTHER WAY WAS TO ELIMINATE A LL CHROME AND SMOOTHLY FILL THE HOLES GIVING A BUBBLE LOOK TO THE RAISED AREA. THE TRUNK LID ON A 6 CYLINDER HAD AN EMBLEM AS YOU DISCRIBED IN YOUR QUESTION. HOOD ON 6 ALSO DID NOT HAVE V JUST THE SCRIPT.IF YOUR VIN ON THE CAR STARTS WITH A C IT WAS A6 FROM THE FACTORY .THE 8 HAD A VC FOR THE BELAIR.IF ANY MORE INFO NEEDED HAVE OVER 5 YEARS OF MAGS WITH SPECS FROM CLASSIC CHEVY WORLD.
