according to the standard catalog of ford, there were no Model B V-8s. (4-cyl only) also it says there were 178,752 V-8s total and 75,945 Model Bs total

Doesn't seem it could have been that long ago, but yes Ford did produce V8's in 1932. To my recollection about 200,000. I can't recall the exact number, but when I find out I will let you know.
